♾️ Auto-create profiles with Doorkeeper

Users can self-enrol using Doorkeeper, that is to submit their faces and other metadata about themselves when first presented in front of Doorkeeper.
This is a flow that will naturally be given to all visitors when they approach Doorkeeper. Upon the completion of this flow, a new profile for the user will be created in Aware containing all the data that have been entered during the onboarding process.

How to auto-create profiles with Doorkeeper

  1. The user approaches Doorkeeper for the first time.
  2. Doorkeeper will give the user a prompt to select their reason for visiting the site.
  3. Based on the option the user selected, they will be onboarded with the requirement of providing one or more of these informations from the configured Onboarding rules in the Web app:
    1. Name
    2. Phone number
    3. Email Address
    4. Address
  4. Once the information required has been entered, the onboarding flow is completed. Doorkeeper then checks to see if there any additional requirements (defined in Access Rules), for the user prior to completing their check-in flow:
    1. Geolocation upon check in
    2. Additional surveys to be completed (these include induction surveys)
    3. Documentation that are required to be uploaded
    4. Host selection (if enabled)
  5. Upon completing their check-in flow, Doorkeeper then does a final assessment on the required informations collected based on the above. If the process (and any questions) were done correctly, Doorkeeper will display a checked in status to indicate that the user has completed the check-in flow.
  6. Upon checking in, a new profile will automatically be created in Aware for the corresponding user. All the informations recorded with any additional documents gathered (e.g surveys or document uploads) will be contained with said profile.
