🔗 Alcolizer LE5 Handheld Integration

Required Items

  1. Doorkeeper Pro
  2. Alcolizer LE5 Handheld device

Setting up the Alcolizer LE5 Handheld Device

To connect the handheld Alcolizer device to the iPad via Bluetooth:
1. Hold the UP and DOWN buttons simultaneously for approximately 5 seconds. The menu screen will be displayed during the 5 seconds and then a password set-up code will be displayed as shown below.
2. Press the test key (Power button) until the cursor is under the fifth '0'
3. Press the UP button until that number is '5' as shown below.

4. Press the test key (Power button) until the Set-up menu is displayed as shown below.
5.  Press the DOWN button until Bluetooth Comms is highlighted.
6. Press the test key (Power button), to display the Bluetooth Comms screen.
7. Press the test key (Power button) to Enable Bluetooth. The Bluetooth logo should now appear on the screen to the right of the time display as shown below.
8. To connect to the iPad, press the DOWN button until Serial is highlighted as shown below.
9. If the device is already paired to another device:
      a. Press the DOWN button until Forget this device is selected.
      b. Press the test key (Power button) to clear pairing.
      c. When pairing is cleared, the white text box should say No Device Paired
10. When no device is paired to the LE5 Handheld device:
      a. Press the UP button until Pairing is selected as shown below.
      b. Place the LE5 Handheld Device next to the iPad with the Doorkeeper application open.
      c. In Doorkeeper, tap on the ⚙️ icon located on the bottom right corner to open up the Settings page.
            if you have a Passcode setup, enter the passcode when prompted to access the Settings page.
      d. On the Left side of the screen, tap on Breathalyser to access the Breathalyser configuration page on Doorkeeper.
      c. On the LE5 Handheld Device, press the test key (Power button), the LE5 Handheld device will display Searching... as shown below.
      d. While the LE5 Handheld Device is searching, on the Doorkeeper Settings > Breathalyser screen, device named 
Alcolizer-24001406 should appear, as shown below.

      e. Tap on the device named Alcolizer-24001406 to prompt the pairing process. The LE5 Handheld device will display a code, while the iPad should prompt you to enter the code shown on the LE5              Handheld device.
      f. When the devices are successfully paired, the LE5 Handheld Device will show the screen below.
